Photoswipe

Photoswipe is a multi-thumbnail gallery. Thumbnails are laid out in a mosaic-like grid which runs in rows of two. The structure of the grid will change shape and size depending on the order of your images.

Tip: To change a layout, try reordering your images or introducing a mixture of landscape and portrait orientation images.

When thumbnails are clicked, a large version of the image is displayed. If there is more than one image in your gallery, controls will be displayed for visitors to navigate to the other images.

Photoswipe requires all images to use the same aspect ratio, which is selectable in the theme’s settings.

The thumbnail and image appearance is linked. If you make any changes to the scale or crop of a thumbnail, the same change will be applied to the image and vice versa.

Tip: If there is a big difference between the two selected values, portrait images begin to look more like landscape images.
