Where’s my serial number?

If you purchased one of our products from the App Store you will not have or need a serial number. If you need to download your software again, you can do so in the Purchased section of the App Store.

If you bought directly from us you should have received an email containing your serial number. If you are unable to find your serial, please get in touch.

Is there an education or non-profit discount?

We offer a 50% discount for people in education, not-for-profit organizations, and seniors.

If you are a teacher, student, administrator, or home educator, then you qualify. Please scan or photograph a document (class schedule, ID, letterhead) that confirms your status.

The qualifying age for seniors is 60 years old. We need to see a scan of your drivers license, passport, or similar showing your age.

For non-profits, we need to see proof of your 501(c)(3) status or anything that proves your status as a non-profit.

Please get in touch attaching your proof of eligibility.

Can I open existing websites or HTML files in Xway?

Xway has been designed to make it as easy as possible to create websites visually. One of the trade-offs for this is that Xway doesn’t read HTML, meaning it can’t open existing sites and perfectly convert them into a format that Xway understands.

The upside is that you can very quickly copy and paste and drag and drop elements from your existing website directly into Xway. Coupled with Master Pages you’ll have your site in Xway in no time at all.

Can I open my Freeway file in Xway?

Xway can open Freeway documents: choose Open from the File menu and select a file that has a .freeway extension. Xway should open any document that was created by Freeway Pro or Freeway Express from version 5 onwards. This should preserve most of the content (text, links, resources, markup, meta tags, master pages etc.) and styles (fonts, colors etc.) of the Freeway document. It should also preserve much of the layout in documents that use CSS layout.

See the Importing a Freeway website appendix in the Xway User Guide for more information.
